Moss Stitch Diamonds Baby Blanket Knitting Pattern

Recently, I finished a baby blanket using the Diamond Baby Blanket Pattern by Barbara Breiter.

This is another baby blanket pattern that I've done twice because I've liked it so much. Again, once for my niece, and once for a friend (although different niece and different friend!) It, like the last pattern I shared, does not have holes. This blanket is a great option for babies because it is visually flattering and has a nice texture for babies to feel.

This project is great for the beginner to intermediate knitter because it only uses knit and purl stitches and it is a manageable size (compared to large afghans).

I do not have a great picture of either of these projects of mine, but her website with the pattern has wonderful pictures that show the double moss stitch pattern as well as the effects of the knits and purls that make this blanket reversible.

One photo of mine in action:

For all of my baby blankets I use Bernat Softee Baby yarn.

What are your go-to patterns for gifts?
